Not an hour goes by that I don't think about Kudi who passed away on October 23, 2003.
I love you old man and I will never forget you!

Beautiful cat! I'm sorry that you lost him.
I can't even imagine 8 months down the line. I'm at two weeks and four days since my sweetheart died, and every day feels like a month.

Steph,
Trust me, you'll never forget your loved one, however, those tears will eventually go away. I still cry sometimes and I'm not ashamed to admit it, but you will get better and always remember how fortunate you were to have your loved one in your life. The best gift our fury friends could ever leave with us with is the gift of our memories of them.
Best of luck.

Tony,
My heart goes out to you, my friend. I have a 18 year old cat(Eeyore) with kidney failure and I'm grieving as to when she has to go.
Our little friends, eh!
Bless you, Mike (Ontario, Canada)

Tony,
What a beautiful cat. I know you'll always miss him, as the rest of us will miss our little ones. Thank you too, for the encouragement to Steph (and the rest of us) whose losses are more recent. I had my almost 16-year old Yorkie Poo put to sleep on April 19, 2004, and it's been so lonely without her here. I still miss her so very much, and still sometimes feel the overwhelming despair. At least it comes and goes now and is not constant like it was for so long. I just adopted two dogs from the animal shelter yesterday. I didn't think I'd get another animal for years, but . . .
In a way, they make me miss Hannah even more. She was my baby girl. She only weighed a pound when I got her and she fit in the palm of my hand. She was the most precious little girl. There will never ever be another Hannah. I just hope she understands that and knows that I'm trying to help her "brothers and sisters," so many of whom have no one to care for them and way too many who are just "put to sleep" because no one wanted them.
Thanks for sharing, Tony.
