Here's the latest news... My rottie "niece" Lexi has come to live with us for an undetermined length of time. My hubby's sister is getting a divorce and didn't want to leave her behind, but needed to move out right away. So 3 year old Lexi is here! Her mom and her people kids are really happy because they really didn't want to lose her.
Buddy and Marley really like her. She prefers Marley. Buddy plays a little to crazy for her. After day 2 she finally showed him that she weighs 2 1/2 times as much as him! She's such a good girl and we're happy to have her here.

Here's Buddy & Marley playing. They are the best of friends! They're both crazy, active, playful youngsters. They just don't stop.
Here's the funny thing about the boys:
Marley's birthday is 1/03/06
Buddy's birthday is 1/04/06
Maybe they're soulmates?

Here's Buddy once I got him to hold still. He's gained about 2 lbs now and his fur is so shiny. His ribs and pelvis are still showing, but it's not so bad. When he first came home, he hardly had any white fur on his chest and now all of the sudden he does! Looking at the photo that was taken when he first went into the shelter, there was even more. The only thing I can figure out is that it all fell out from stress while he was there. Anyone else have any ideas?

Ok, you've seen the "PRISON PHOTO" before, but look at the white part on his chest. See how much more there was? And when he came here there was only about a thumb print. Weird, huh?

Oh your family is so beautiful! Each a special and gorgeous guy or gal. Wow maybe Buddy & Marley are soulmates. They look so cute and happy playing together.
I'd think it's possible stress caused the white to fall out. Stress does make them shed, it's odd that it was the white. Beautiful markings.
