We're going to look at a new apartment today and I'm really nervous about them accepting our application. My credit is not good but my bf does have excellent credit rating, so I'm hoping that will be enough for them..

If we get it, we would be moving around June 1st and then I could get a kitty soon after, so I could really use some good luck vibes and prayers from everyone!

Oh how wonderful that would be! Ya know, you might just need to adopt two to make up for lost time...hint hint nudge nudge laugh.gif ! I couldn't imagine a furless house, so I really feel your pain. I am very hopeful that it works out for you!

Consider yourself 'lucked'! And let's all hope that June 1st brings us all a tidal wave of better fortune! I don't know if things have changed with renting, but they USED to take just one person's credit as 'good enough'....as long as someone's paying the monthly rent, so let's hope it's still the same! Let us know!

Well I think it went ok... problem is that my current b*** landlady won't let us go before the actual lease ends July 1. I think these people will hold the June 1 apartment a few weeks though, so we can still take it, but have to talk to them today and find out for sure. So it looks like no kitty till July now sad.gif I hope Alley hasn't already sent me one out there somewhere!

Honey Alley knows much better than you when you will be moving! She has the kitty picked out for the perfect time. Any good vibes you need, you know you have them from me. I can't wait to see your new kid(s)! I'm just sorry you have to wait, I know how much you need a kitty in your life.

I hope you are right, that Alley has things all planned out with the new kitty. I did make sure to tell her not to send him to me too soon.

As for being kitty-less... it is so so hard to not have a little fuzzy baby to hold.

I agree with Lori.....don't forget - they're 'privy' to much more on the Other Side than we are here, so I'm sure no mistakes will be made. Have trust in that, as much as you can. I guess it's not uncommon to hold people to their leases....but it's still a piss-off. dry.gif

I was 'forced' to hold our neighbour's kidney cat in my arms yesterday (sudden, but long story), but all it did was upset the heck outta me, as he's almost 'not there', he's so thin and frail....poor guy was stuck outside all morning and afternoon, and it was CHILLY out! I despise my next-door neighbour probably about as much as you despise your landlady!
