Let's not forget the laughter through the tears. Thinking of how funny and quircky my Jakey was keeps me going sometimes.
I already posted this on another thread, forgive me if you have already read it.
One thing Jake loved to do is stand in his kiddie pool and pee. My girlfriend called it his youra-peein-spa.
Stories anyone?

I remember seeing that story...very cute! HE sounded like such a unique and lively dog.
Misty did a lot of funny things too. Once in the apartment it snowed...we live in the south and I don't think he'd been around snow. He goes out the back porch in the morning and finds snow. He comes back in all dejected. After a few minutes he tries to go out the front instead! You could see the wheels turning in his head...well, maybe if I go out the front, there won't be any snow.
Then another time it looked like to was going to rain. He wanted to go out and I told him it was going to "rainsy" and it wasn't a good idea. Of course, I couldn't say say no.
So, 15 minutes later it starts raining. I head out with an umbrella to find Misty under a bush. WE walk together, with Misty under the umbrella, and me getting soaked!!!!!

When I had just had my son, we used to play gimme that with Rajah and socks in the laundry. While one day I was holding Sawyer and Rajah jumped up (man could he jump) and went for one of Sawyer's socks that was on his foot. Well, he caught Sawyer's toe and being a new mom I called my dad and mom and said he's bleeding, it's his toe. I put Rajah in his kennel and then went to comfort Sawyer. Well, when my parents got here, they came upstairs to Sawyer's room and asked where Rajah was. I told him in his kennel. They went right back downstairs and I said it's Sawyer's toe, not Rajah's. We still laugh about that because even with a new baby in the house, Rajah was and still is the reigning Prince.

How funny.
Radgirl...What do you mean there is weather out back AND out front? It's not right, I tell ya, it's not right!
Tiffany...Prince indeed. As it should be!

I still LOVE the youra-peein-spa. Too funny.

Did you know there is a Sci Fi Story called 'The Door Into Summer"? When our cats go door to door we say they are looking for the door into summer. We are so stupid, sometimes we open the door into winter! Who wants that? Of course you put the umbrella over Misty, can't let the cat get wet.
My Moose kitty went outside with a harness and a long rope. He climbed a tree one day and fell off. The rope hooked over a limb and he was hanging. We were with him, of course and Daddy ran for the ladder. He looked so silly, hanging from the tree, the harness had his middle all up and his legs were hanging down.
(hang on I have to help my kitten drink from my water glass, what won't we do for our kids)?
Moustache loved playing "bathtub wall of death". We have a large oval tub that is just great for running fast in, when you get going fast enough, you go up onto the sides!
It's good to think of the good things and laugh.

I found this picture of Moose, it cracked me up.
Oh I forgot to tell you guys, Moose flossed! He loved to floss, if anyone in the house was flossing we had to share, LOL. He would grab it in his mouth, he liked it when you held it for him in two hands, and pull it through his teeth with his paw. He purred so loud when he did. He would ask daddy a few times a day to 'please floss'.

I want to see a pic of Moose flossing! I'm relieved to know that your family has good dental hygiene ;-)
