Beautiful picture. You know black cats have always been special to me. I have to ask though.. how did HE get the name Misty? lol.

We rescued him 1998--someone had dumped him at our apartment complex at around age 10. He had black furr, but a white undercoat, andthe hair that came off was a white mist....he had been neutered so we thought he was a girl at first...hence, the name stuck.....

What a beautiful boy! Thank you for sharing the picture! You can feel the love coming off of the computer screen...that you for loving him so much, and giving him such a good life.

I knew there had to be a story behind the name!

When we first got Alley's sister, Stinky, we thought she was a boy. She had such thick long fuzzy hair that you couldn't really see much and when she started getting bigger, we never bothered to look. Her original name was Max with Stinky being a nickname. When I took "him" in to get neutered I got a big surprise!
