last night while watching a movie with my husband, i was laying across the bed and something caught my eyes..it appeared to be my beloved poohbear looking back at me...now i had to do a dble take as to see if i was "just" seeing things..and i wasnt..it was her..looking at me and as soon as i gained my composure she was gone..poof in a flash.. how i wished she was there for just a few more moments..so i could have said i love you and i miss you. this was about the third time i have seen her in the house before ..but this was the longest i had seen her and met with her eyes.. it was so sureal, her coloring and the coloring in her eyes was so bright..just as she looked when she was alive. it was the most amazing moment of my life..(next to the birth of my daughter) and now that i think of it today is my dtrs birthday, and when i saw poohbear my dtr was in the room also. on the computer and poohbear was near her.. i wonder if it was a birthday visit ..like poohbear knew? i was happy that she was there to just meet with my eyes..but sad that kitten was not with her...i am getting more "visits" from poohbear but only one dream of kitten..why is that? i keep hoping for kitten to visit, and i am hoping she is not lost and cant get to me, or she forgot about me..sigh thanks for listening..

Oh that's great. I think Poohbear did come back for your daughters BD. I'm glad you got to 'see' her. You can still talk to her, even if you don' t 'see' her so much.

I don't know why you don't see Kitten so much. They seem to choose different ways to let us know they are around, so maybe she just likes dreams better.

I see Moose a lot, more like movement out of the corner of my eye. I think it's one of my other kids, but when I look they were no where around. I just say Hi Buddy, like I always did when he was here. Then I talk to him some, tell him how much I miss him. I really think he hangs out here often.

I'm glad she visited. I read your post and all of the replies and I believe that they all stay with us. I think she's with you so much more than you know because she loves you so much....and I'm sure kitten didn't forget about you. How could she?

Michelle,I'm so happy you got a visit from your poohbear.I'm sure if was to wish your daughter a happy birthday.As for seeing my boy Sox I would have to say yes,but like Lori mine are more out of the corner of my eye.I'll see a strange kind of flash right at the edge of my vision and when I turn to see what it was there will be nothing there.I believe Sox comes to visit us alot but I also hope he's happy at the rainbow bridge and not worried about us all the time.He lived a good long life and he deserves to be happy and well now so it's okay with me if he doesn't visit very often.I know he's around whenever I need him and that's good enough for me.I truly believe all our furbabies come around for visits,maybe we're just too busy to stop and take notice.Hope you are doing well and it was good to see you posting again.Sincerely,Renee (Sox's mom)

I think our lost loved ones show up when they feel moved to do so, for whatever reason is in their heads at that time. Maybe it was the birthday, maybe it was just the urge to see what everyone was up to. As for not showing up when you expect them to, I'd try not to be too disappointed, they're in a place filled with so much excitement and things to do and eat, and oh, the catnip must be sublime. At least, that's the way I like to think about it.

aww thank you, yes it was very nice indeed!! i am so thankful. the color just really brings out my girls...little known to me in that picture was the only time they actually fit together on a chair at the same time..as kitten grew to a big 20 lbs and pooh bear to a nice svelte 13lbs..and they got into so much misheif that night..running all over the house chasing air...i could never find what they were actually batting around or chasing after..gosh what i wouldnt do just to hear them tearing it up again...

I am not sure if I have seen my Gizzy... not sure as in I have seen what seems like a shadow, but when I look deeper its gone. I wonder if its my mind playing tricks? What I do know is I can feel him. 3 days after he left me, I felt him in the living room. He's here all the time. I know he is.
My other babies are I think luckier than me, I'm sure they see him. They do the strangest things, they just stop and sniff the air, I know cats do this anyway, but they seem to do it more. Then one of them would run around the house up stairs down and back again, like they are being play chased. Gizzy would always pick on one to play this game, he loved it, he would chase them, then they would chase him.
Then as I have explained before I have the mouse story, that is still happening everynight, but now im wondering which one out of the 3 is doing it. I thought it was pheobe, indeed it was to start with, I saw her, but not sure who now. Last night I put the 3 babies into the spare room, to test a theory. This morning there were 2 mice next to my side of the bed, not sure if my hubby or my son had let the cats out in the night, I will find out when they come home after work. If they didnt, how do I explain this... im not going crazy I dont think.
On the rare occasion Gizzy would escape outside (inside cats) he would always try to pick a fight with the magpies, I used to worry, he would come of the wrong end!
Since the day after my Gizzy past I have had a magpie pay a daily visit to the top of my shed, and look directly in the kitchen window at me. Is he brave because Gizzy isnt there to chase him, Im not so sure. There is a little more to this, I tell my children that when mum passes, my face will be in the clouds, and my soul will be in the magpies, you must search for it. Magpies are my ###### bird.... strange hey ?
Please tell me I am not going crazy.... all these things are not just coincedence are they??

as luck would have it...my power went out this morning around 430 am. my computer came on by itself(this happens when power goes out and comes back on safe mode or something..anyway...) i open my eyes and look up at the computer to see what was going on and then looked at the floor by the computer and see .....no other than kitten!!! stretching her neck out to sniff the computer and then in a flash she was gone!! she came to visit!!!!! i am so happy she appeared even if she didnt look at me..she was there.....!! cant decribe how i am feeling..i just so filled with so many emotions right now....

I'm so happy for you, that you got this visit from her, even if it was only to see her for a minute. I haven't had any glimpses of Alley except for one dream and even that was a while ago. I would give anything to see her sweet little face one time.

you are not gonna beleive this, my dtr has recieved two cat toys called webkinz, one is a black and white cat and the other is a orange and white striped cat they are virtual stuffed pets with codes that you can log onto the computer to play games with..she hasnt picked out a name for the first one the black and white one..but the other one she named......ALLEY...how funny is that.. it gets better..i asked her why she named her alley?>>she said because it was the right thing to do...she doesnt know about this site so i know that she couldnt have got the name from here.. i think it may be a sign from alley...or at least i think it is..maybe she knows i talk to you..and its her way...how sweet is that?

awww that's wonderful! Its little things like that make me feel like Alley will live on in more than just my heart. Anytime one of you sees a cat that reminds you of her, or something to make you think of her, its makes me feel so good. Knowing that all of you will remember her, just as I remember all of your lost loves.
