Can anyone share expereiences where their pets have come back to them? I am desperate to believe that my boy is okay. Sometimes I feel like I can feel him curled up inside my heart, but I'm not sure. Dawn

I haven't had any experience where he actually came back in physical form but I have had some where I have seen signs from him. Along with other members here and their pets. Your boy is doing fine... watch for the signs. No matter how "small" they seem they are signs from him.

you need to read the book ( animals and the afterlife) -by kim sheridan, she spent years researching that fact all over the world.i bought mine off of amazon.
i hope i,m aloud to say this, but it,s the only book i found that covered this in depth.the book was such a success she writing a second book.i sent her my story of lucky, but might be to late.it would be nice to think she was named in a book, remembered for eternity.
i hope i don,t get into trouble naming her book.i spent hours on the internet searching for answers, but not really much available on those type of answers.i have found that speaking to people, most do believe.generaly people won,t say things incase you think there mad.my father lost his dog a while ago, when i told him about what happened,he told me one night in his kitchen-he felt his dog brush against his leg and a few months later when he had a new dog,the dog sat across his lounge staring at the sofa where his other dog used to lay,and just barked and barked and wouldn,t go near the sofa.he never told me that and kept it to himself.the trouble is,we will never ever now for absolute definite until we go ourselves, but then no one can ever say with absolute fact that these things don,t happern either. it,s just personal to you and they can,t be dis-proved by even the best scientists because they didn,t witness these things.that,s why the unexplained is the unexplained, but without it,some of us would crack up.

I think we are supposed to just have faith that they are in paradise and safe and happy. Personally, I wouldn't want my beloved dog to come back. I want him to just stay in the wonderful place that he is right now and wait for me. I think that if people have really strong faith, that they don't really need a sign from their pets. They believe without seeing, which is really what belief in God is all about.

A few days after Alley died, I "felt" her jump on my bed one morning as I was laying there thinking about getting up. The bed spring made a little squeak and I felt the movement exactly like it used to be when she would jump on the bed for real.

The only other experience I have had was a very very realistic dream visitation. I've had other dreams about her, used to dream about her all the time even before she died, but this one was very different. If you want to read about it, its posted in this thread

Thank you for responding, everyone, I will look out for the little signs. I have felt as though he is curled up in my heart and wondered if that is real.

I actually talked with a psychic about him today. She described him perfectly, right down to the little red Kong that he loved. She said that when he passed he leapt over, with great enthusiasm, and he is having a great time. She said that he has taken on a job, he helps dogs over that are scared or confused.

I know it sounds crazy...I was desperate. She pulled a lot of things out of thin air that she couldn't have known. It comforts me, even if it is crazy.

I have talked to a pet communicator in the past and they can be very helpful and comforting. It's not crazy at all... I plan on talking to her again soon now that Simba has had plenty of time to "settle in." smile.gif

Thanks for understanding. She told me that my boy has a job, helping those who are scared or confused cross over.

Hey, everyone....maybe we should start a list on LS of communicators we've used (names; contact info; fees; websites if any; info/pics required up front; method used, ie. running conversation style VS written report later or other methods; etc.- trying to keep the format consistent, too) and what our impressions of them and their readings were? It might be a great resource (in the Resource and Info. forum) for anyone in future, or even now, wanting to give it a try. Whaddayathink? Good free advertising for the good, better, best ones, and helpful to weed out the chaff so we don't all waste money.

I am for that... let me know where to post it smile.gif

The woman I spoke with was Linda Schooler, lchooler@msn.com. She was right on about a lot of things. She works off of a picture you email her and charges $30.00 for a 15 minute reading. She pulled something out of thin air about how grantwriting will be important to me, and someone named Lynn or Linda will be instrumental. I work in animal rescue, and we just decided to go after grants, I am pushing a woman named Lynn to get in there and make it happen. It was bizarre that in the middle of talking about Jake she tossed that out there...there is no way that she could have had any idea about my life and grantwriting. I mean, for real, it wasn't like "You will meet a tall dark handsome stranger".

The best place seems to be the Websites, News and Other Info. forum - maybe start with the topic heading "Animal Communicators LS Members Have Used" or "Animal Communicator Reference List", or something like that. Those of us interested in adding to the list can just do this at their convenience, when they're up to it.

Glad you're interested! smile.gif

Dawn,

Maybe you could transfer your contribution over to the other forum, once the heading is up there? (we don't want to take over the original topic thread here, and need a separate heading in an appropriate forum for easy reference so other, and new members can see and find it quickly) Thanks much, and glad you're interested, too!! cool.gif

Whether you get a sign or not - your furbaby is safe and happy with God. It sounds trite, but I believe that "All dogs (and other animals) go to heaven," since they are pure at heart.

Whether a furbaby sends a message is probably a decision that is made by God and the furbaby. Probably a lot of things go into making that decision that we cannot understand.

I was lucky that my Daisy did "come back" several weeks after she passed away. My husband and I were grief stricken, missing her horribly and crying a lot. One night, at the same time, we had identical dreams that she returned and we were both so happy and ran to tell the other person that Daisy was back! Although I felt some relief after these dreams, I also felt badly that our grief had reached her and that she felt the need to make the long trip - spiritually or however - to reassure us.

I know Daisy wants us to be happy. In life, she would be immediately on top of me, licking my face, at the first sign of a tear. I remember joking that I could never show any sadness in my own house because Daisy would not permit it. In death, this obviously has not changed. She cannot return physically, but she did send a strong message.

All that aside, I miss Daisy terribly. I think of her every day. What a price to pay for having loved such a beautiful, caring soul.

That your psychic knew things that she couldn't have known without having spiritual contact with your furbaby is very reassuring!

Lucky and Mitzy's mum,

You could try the following www.snu.org.uk/churches.htm

Click 'East Anglia' on the map to find Littleport and Ely District Spritualists.

I don't know if you are anywhere near Ely, not quite Norfolk, but they have a programme of visiting mediums, you could email - mike@mjgoodall.co.uk and ask which, if any of the mediums cover your area, or if there are any meetings coming up in your area.

I know St Andrews Hall in Norwich used to hold pyschic evenings but that is going back 10 years ago when I used to lived there.

Anyway, all the mediums listed are SNU certified, I'm sure they can't all just cover Cambridgeshire only. I'm sure if you email they will be able to point you in the right direction.

E.M

Ps. I know Norfolk quite well, I grew up in Hellesdon nr Norwich, do you know it at all?
E.M
Also if you aren't doing anything on this Sunday coming there is a Mind, Body, Spirit and Health Fayre at The Assembly House, Chantry Road in Norwich, (Nr The Theatre Royal)

10am-4pm admission £2

There will be various practioners available from aromatherapy, clairvoyance, crystals, tarot to psychic mediums etc. You could find out if any of the mediums there on the day are any good and are registered with the SNU.

May make a nice day out if nothing else, if you live anywhere near the city.

More details can be found at www.pathwaysnetwork.co.uk/events/norwich-070225.htm

(can't work out how to make this a hyperlink, I'm used to them being done automatically!)

Oops sorry, I should have said Lucky and Mitzy's DAD!

Didn't see your earlier post. Sorry! Hope no offence is taken.

Sorry I jumped the gun on that. I started a thread on Websites and Other Info called Animal Communicators LS Members Have Used. Good suggestion!

Dawn ~~

First of all, I have to tell you how much I love your tribute picture of Jake! Well done. : ) As for visitations from my Caesar, I have had a handful of dreams, since he went on his Journey. The most vivid dream he visited me in was the night after I recorded in my dream journal, how much I needed to see him again, that I miss him so very much, and that I love him dearly. I have been keeping dream journals since 1991, and I had never written anything down in all my journals, but dreams. For some reason, I made an entry in my journal that wasn't a dream, but a tearful request made out of total desparation for him to visit me. The request didn't belong in a journal only meant to record my dreams, but that night, he visited me, and it seemed so very real. All my dreams I've had of him through my grief have been so precious, a gift beyond words, but this particular dream... it was the most vivid and lasted the longest. I honestly believe that if we are receptive, that our loved ones can visit us in the dreamtime. Our heartbreak is very real, and the silver cord that binds us to them with love, I believe the astral can be that bridge for them to visit with us. So, it may be that my pouring out my heart on paper, on the tear-soaked pages of my journal, made it possible for him to visit me in a way that had never been done, before. Perhaps I opened my heart with no reservations, for such a length of time, that it opened a way somehow. What I do know for sure is that I had a desparate need, and it was fulfilled. After that, I know he is indeed okay, and his wisdom can now be imparted to me when I need it. I feel closer to him now, since I began to grieve, than ever before. I don't know if this helps you or not, but I truely wish you all the best in your future visitations from Jake. Also, never allow anyone to question your faith, just because you need to know if Jake is okay and happy. Your dog is beautiful, and he has a mommy who's heart is filled with love for him.
