What an absolutely gorgeous kitty! Thank you for sharing the picture with us. I have never seen a long haired cat with such unusual markings and I just love it.
I know how hard it can be to look at the pictures, but I'm so glad I have them and have put them up in frames in each room, so that I can see my precious Alley all the time.

Dear Alleys Mama,
Yes she really was gorgeous, & to the day she died her eyes were shining bright & her fur so soft & silky. She loved having her chin & ears rubbed, but didn't like being stroked on her back.
Your Alley, was beautiful too, & I expect that long black fur was silky soft. But she did look so poorly in that last photo you posted. Isn't life just so unfair - your Alley with that horrible disease & my Furry with heart disease, both too young.

Alley didn't like having her back petted either! Well, the top half she did, but she would give a little half growl if anyone tried to pet her bottom! Her fur was very soft and silky too. I didn't brush her often because she didn't like it, but she never got tangles or matted. Just something about the type of fur she had I guess. She does look very sick in those last pictures I had of her. I look at those and I can't believe they didn't know how sick she was until they took her to the vet. If I had been there, I would have known right away. She was my girl and I knew her inside and out.
Furry looks so healthy and happy in the pictures. I can't believe she had heart disease so young. Like you said, it really isn't fair that they were taken from us so soon.

Wow Furry was such a beauty! I love her fur. I love cats with long fur. Both my Butch and my Moose had long fur, and my new baby, Majik does too. This is a great picture and I bsolutely LOVED the one in the garden with the wine glass. What a way to spend the day.
