Hello,all.In case you didn't know,we are having a candle lighting ceremony on christmas eve @ 10:00 p.m. to honor and remember the lives of our pets who have passed away.Please reply to this post with your pets name,age,and where you live so we can be sure to include them in the ceremony.We will all be doing our own personal ceremony but I along with others on this site also want to include your babies in our ceremonies.We want to make sure that nobody gets left out.I'll start the list with my own baby boy Sox.His full name was Mr. Senor Sockaroni Faffalona Ryan but we always called him Sox. He was born in Feb. 1990 and passed away on Oct. 13th,2006. We live in Hastings,Fla. My fur angel's name is T.C. . He left for the Rainbow Bridge on Nov. 3, 2006 at the age of 23 years. I am in Montana. I will hold all of you in my prayers.

Our precious boy Scooter was born 8/1/99 and crossed over to the Bridge on 7/15/06, only 6 years old. Always loved and forever missed. We live in Manahawkin, New Jersey, and will be with you Christmas Eve at 10PM.

My sweet Schtoobing was born in October, 1989 and passed away on November 13, 2006. Schtoob was born in Wisconsin, spent 11 years in Alaska, and his remaining years in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.

My precious girl Cleo was born in the summer of 1990 and went to the Rainbow Bridge on Thanksgiving Day - Nov 23rd this year. She was absolutely the kindest and most loving creature I have ever known.

I will join you on Christmas eve....and I am keeping all of you in my prayers.

Also add Wiley, Alley's older brother, from a previous litter, I only had him for a short year before he was killed by a car. 1996 to May 20, 1997. Unlike Alley, he had short hair, but they both had a single white whisker on the left side, with all black bodies.

If you would, add Punky to the memorial. He was 14 years old when he was put to sleep and relieved of his fight against cancer. The ceremony is timely, as his life was ended exactly two years ago last night, on December 22, 2004. Thank you.

My English setter Jake had to be put to sleep after a massive seizure on August 24, 2004. He was almost 12 years old, actually 11 years +. I live in Boise Idaho.

I will always love him, and I still miss him so much, every day.

I won't be able to take part in the ceremony tonight but I would appreciate it if I could add my 2 departed furbabies to the list. We are in Brantford, Ontario, Canada:

This was such a beautiful idea that you came up with You have brought so many people together.

Our sweet girl Ernestine (AKA "Ernie-Bird"), went to Rainbow's Bridge on February 7, 2004 and we will be lighting a candle at 10pm in honor and remembrance of her. I adopted Ernie (her first name was "Muffins" ), in June, 1984, when she was just six weeks old and I was 23 & 1/2 <<--(wow...time flies)!

I was drawn to her because of her calico coloring and, her cute double paws. She was so adorable - as are all furbabies/furkids, no matter what their age.
She was MY daughter and......she was my very best friend . We went through everything together - we grew up together.

Tonight we'll light a candle and, in addition to honoring Ernestine's memory, we will also be thinking of of our other kids who have gone on before.

We will also remember the furkids (and, other pets), of everyone here at Lightning-Strike. I know in my heart that ALL of our kids are together . That thought has always comforted me.
