So I found a lump on my cat Baby's lip on Wednesday morning (its just off the lip in the hair line). I won't be taking her to the vet until tomorrow, so my imagination is running wild. I hope its something like feline acne or a simple abcess or something to do with her allergies. It doesn't seem to bother her, it was red Wed, fine yesterday, and red again today (she must be itching it - though I haven't seen her do it) I am so worried already though cause it was this time last year when Homer started getting sick, and he was gone by Dec 24th. If it is the C-word, I pray we caught it early and can treat it. Does anyone know what to look for if it a simple lump, or a bad one??
Thanks,
Leighann

I am sorry to hear about this. Hopefully it is something minor like maybe biting herself while eating. Lumps and bumps are tricky. I don't think there is a way to know if it is a bad one without going to the vet for examination.
I wish you and your Baby the best and keep us posted.

I've never been so happy with a big fat ugly pimple before. Baby's fine, she just has a bit of acne, which I guess can go hand in hand with allergies. So thank goodness, my Baby girl is healthy!!
