After reading time and again on this board about illnesses and conditions that have become far too prevalent in our animals in the last couple of decades, and also seeing enough requests for information or guidance on such health issues, I thought it might be more useful to post under this News forum about the book that was written by our very own homeopathic vet, Dr. Don Hamilton, DVM. Don used to be a regular, allopathic vet many years ago, and saw far too many cases of animals not getting well, and even getting worse, with standard allopathic medicine and practises. And so he turned to homeopathy and other natural methods of healing. In short, I can't recommend him enough! He was a WONDERFUl vet to our Nissa and I am forever grateful to him for helping us to extend Nissa's life as well as he did, especially given that I didn't find him until she was already 13 years old and diagnosed with CRF (chronic kidney failure). I firmly believe she would not have lived to 19 years, 7 months without his unfailingly wise and compassionate care, even from a distance (by phone). So I have decided to add some links to his book (and his philosophies behind his practise) here, for any and all of you who wish to explore these avenues of health care, either for those with current emergencies and problems, or for your remaining furkids. This way I won't have to keep repeating myself in individual threads, as there will be a separate heading/thread here to address this by itself. It is only because I care so much about our furbabies that I wish to spread the good and hopeful word about such alternative treatments. I hope many of you will find this useful as well as possibly life-saving.
