Furkidlets' Mom
Seeing as the dreaded holidays are approaching and one thread was recently started regarding this, I thought I'd post a link to a way of memorializing our furbabies with personalized glass ornaments. I've had one done for each of my loved ones, so now have 4. As a tip, you can take a look at the bell-shaped ornament, which is the only one that includes paw prints as a motif. I got one of each of these for Sabin, and now Nissa, while my human loss ones include the round ornament and the heart ornament. They are really lovely and when a mistake was made on (only) one of them, this company sent a replacement, done properly, for free, within a week. If you wait until close to Christmas, they usually go on sale (which is good, cuz shipping costs have risen dramatically in only a year!), and I believe they used to still guarantee arrival before Christmas Day if you ordered by a certain date. They are wonderful not only to hang up, but to use in any memorial service you may do during these sad holidays.

Thank you so much for the great idea. I'm going to the site now, to check it out. What a great way to remember our beloved pets who have gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

Thanks for sharing that! There's one on the Miles Kimball website (www.mileskimball.com) that you can put a photo in.
I have so many "Precious" ornaments from past years (including all of those Fancy Feast ones) that one sticks out: it's a little Snuggle bear (the fabric softener) that is holding a little card that reads "To Precious: Mommy loves you very much! Hugs and kisses!!". It was a send-away premium years ago but I will always treasure that...and the Lenox Sheba (cat food) plate with his name printed in gold (another send-away premium).
