On Monday, August 14th, my parents said goodbye to their loved silver shaded boy Sterling. He was 17 years old and was suffering from kidney failure. When he deteriorated to a point where they could see he wasn't enjoying life anymore they had the vet come and peacefully put him to sleep outside while he lay on my mother's lap. Sterling was the most gentle soul of a cat, always avoiding confrontation, never lifting a claw in anger. He spent his days lying in the sun and his evenings on my dad's lap. He had a wonderful life.
Each and every time I came for a visit he would lick my face and my hair and drool all over him, I always teased that I shouldn't bother taking a shower on days I was visiting.
They loved you very much Sterling and so did I. A lock of your fur will hang from my dreamcatcher windchime alongside Nymph who was your mom, and Spicey who was your sister, Zody is also on the chime but of course knowing that you two did not like each other I will hang your lock on the opposite side.

We miss you Sterling and will all always love you. You were a beautiful boy, inside and out. wub.gif

I think that you dreamcatcher wind chime is a beautiful idea -- I love your quote from above -- I'll bet that Zody & Sterling are smiling down from Rainbow's Bridge.....

Sending love to your parents during this time.

Peace & Love,
