I have a difficult time using the washer. I check the clothes in it at least 3 times and put a 10 minute timer on before turning the washer on. I have three other cats and always look around to make sure they are safe.

I started feeding the ferel cats who live behind our supermarket this week. I feel that I have to show my love for animals even more than before. I was upset with my sister for 5 months before Baby Kings Death. We had not talked in 5 months but she called me when she heard of what happened to Baby Kings. We are now talking and I am so much happier to have my sister back in my life. I had to forgive my sister if I expect Baby King to forgive me.

Wow, that is heartwarming about you and your sister. I'm so glad she reached out to you in your time of intense need. I believe BabyKing arranged that for you. wub.gif

I know you must be having a rough time. sad.gif Bless you for helping those feral cats.

Please know that you do deserve to forgive yourself. What happened was a complete accident. Possibly for some reason it was even BabyKing's "time" to pass on, but either way, unfortunately it happened in a way that was especially distressing.

Your kitties (and the feral ones) are so lucky to have you!!!

Love,

Kathy

I am really sorry you are having a difficult time, and I understand. It is a miracle of sorts, that your sister is back in your life again. And it is true, in order to receive forgiveness, we must give forgiveness. But in the post before mine, there is no need for you to ask for forgiveness. What happened was a horrible accident. And Bless you for taking care of those feral cats behind your supermarket. Things happen for a reason(that's what my mother always says anyway). We do not understand why, and somtimes we never find out the reasons for these things. We just have to trust that there is a purpose for the things that happen, good and bad. Just like I have to trust that there was a reason I lost my job today, 3 weeks after I lost my Scooter. You are a good person with a kind heart, remember that.

Speaking of feral cats, I commend you for taking care of them. I also urge you to contact your local Alley Cat Allies representatives, and ask about the TNR program - Trap, Neuter, Return. It can drastically affect the population of those sad homeless strays out there, and may be a way to honor Baby King in a real tangible way. The folks I've dealt with at ACA are wonderful, caring, and passionate about their cause, because otherwise a lot of those cats would be euthanized - or worse, if you can believe it. Please consider contacting them or checking out their extensive web site - it's a wealth of information for people who can't help helping those unloved, hungry, sometimes sick cats. Take care - Barb

Its horrible what happened to your baby king, im so sorry his life ended that way. i honestly suggest if your having problems doing laundry now, you should get some therapy, because i know from my dads death, trying to get through it alone only tends to get worse.

I lost my dog picasso in sept of 2004, ( my dad let him get ran over), and i just lost my dad on Jan 26, 2006, for me its been a interesting few years, and the grief had went into nightmares and was affecting my daily life. Definately get some therapy, as i now am
