Every day Oscar is eating alittle less. He goes out fewer times a day and has started laying on his side rather than on his tummy. He gets up, wanders a little and then back to bed.
I try not to cry all the time as he picks up on my emotions. The rose is never off the bloom, so to speak, with your furbaby. They love you as much from day one until they move on to heaven to wait for you.
I try to hold this in my heart. Reading what others have written is a bit of a comfort. To know you aren't alone, and there are others out there who know what you are feeling.

My Tanji is leaving me too. She refuses to eat today. I don't know what I'm going to do.

My baby Tanji left me yesterday. She stopped eating, and I don't think she could use her litterbox. So I made an appointment with a mobile vet, and she left me at about 5:20 pm yesterday. I was immediately comforted knowing she was not in pain, and that her needs were taken care of.

Today is so hard though. I have a gigantic hole in my heart though. The good thing is that I can feel her spirit, and I can hear her talking to me, reassuring me that everything is all right now. It's hard to believe, but I have opened my mind to accept these messages from her.

I am sorry Oscar isn't doing well. Hang in there and do the best you can for his sake. When he leaves, open your heart to his spirit, and you will hear him.
