I'm new here. I just found out my dog has lymphnoma and only a month or two to live. My heart is being ripped out. I don't know where to start. I don't know what to do or when. I just want what's best for him. What will be most comfortable. I'm trying to be strong but I'm a emotional wreck. I guess I just need to share with others that will understand. He has been the best friend of my life. I don't know what I'm going to do without him. Letting go is so hard. My heart aches.

I need some help.

My heart goes out to you! Wow--what a heartwrenching time you are going through. You are such an awesome Mom, it's obvious . You want only the best for your sweet dog.

Right now it probably seems impossible that you'll get through this. But you will, and we'll be here to help you when the time comes---and of course leading up to that time, and afterwards.

I'm glad you found this site. It helped me so much when I was going through the intense grief of losing my Little GIrl 2 years ago. I didn't think I'd get through it. But thanks to the comfort and guidance of people here, I survived. (And went on to adopt 3 other needy furkids, in LIttle Girl's honor).
