I know that when we are upset and sad that our minds can play tricks on us, and I hope I do not offend anyone with this question.
Have any of you, who are all people who form a very close bond with Furpeople, ever felt as though your Baby has come into the room with you, or touched you even though you know they are not there in body?
I have had this feeling so many times in the last week since my Simple has passed over, that I sometimes think I've totally lost it.

Hi Cindi,

You so haven't lost it. In fact you're one of the lucky ones. Plus, it's a lot more common that you'd think. In my year here I've read lots of accounts of folks that hear, see and feel their furries after they've passed. I think she's probably stopping in to make sure you're okay. At some point your kitty will decide that you are okay and she'll just wait for you at the bridge. In the mean time, enjoy your visits from Simple.

Take care,
Tim

Cindi... NOPE! You're not crazy!!

Your baby is blessing you with visits, and aren't they just fantastic??? My Inky is definitely still with me and never hesitates to let me know. You ARE feeling that touch, that grand entrance into the room, etc. They really never do leave, just as people.

Now when you feel that little sweetheart, just smile and tell that baby just how much you love knowing that they're still there. Congratulations on your special wub.gif gift!!

Hugs,

Pat

I wish my baby would make some kind of contact with me. I keep waiting for it but I feel nothing, which is hurting me on so many levels.

You're all very lucky and I kind of envy you all for experiencing this.

I have read your post and many of the responses to it. I take somewhat of a different position on these things. In fact, the second book I published on pet loss and pet afterlife specifically addresses this topic. My research in this area was prompted by hundreds of inquiries from readers concerning "ghost pets" and the like.

I cannot recount everything here for space concern, but briefly, scripture speaks to the issue of those who have passed on returning (animal and human) and quite specifically. It also provides for God comforting those who trust him, through dreams and/or other cirumstances, cirumstances just like what you experienced. Long before I even wrote my first word, I hd such an experience, again, too long to recount here - but God spoke to me in a way that only he knew would work for me - concerning the passing of my wonderful dog Samantha. The story is truly moving and uplifting. It has been a source of strength for me for many, many years and I have never let it go.

You can e-mail me at gkurz007@aol.com and I will somehow find a way of reproducing it (I am not really good on the computer) and send it to you.

In the meantime, God bless and I am so hapy that this experience has brought you comfort.

To all of you wonderful people who have responded to my post:
I know that you are all hurting so badly over the loss of your Furrie Ones, and still you all reach out to others past your own grief. This is a beautiful thing and I am so happy to have found a place to go where we all feel the same about our little babies. In the world too many people still believe that a pet is just something you own like a toy to entertain you. Of course we know this is wrong, they have souls like us and feel pain and love deeply. The world is a much better place because of them, and because of their wonderful parents.
Thank you so much for being who you are,
Cindi
