Yesterday, Sunday was 1 week since Rocky left us. Rocky you were the best boy ever. You were sweet, gentle, loving and devoted to your mommies. We miss your very presence in the house. It's so quiet and lonely without you. We still have your basket out in the family room as we still can't bring ourselves to put it away. Steph misses hugging and kissing you so terribly. I miss your purring face in my ear, your head butts and rubs. Your grunts whenever walked into your view as if to say hello. Luckily we still have Fluffy to get us through this time. She's just a sweetheart and has to be around us constantly. She knows we're heartbroken and tries to console us. Neither of you got along with each other very well, but I know during the day she is lonely now.
Dearest Rock, we love you, miss you and hope you're some place warm, sunny and are eating all the grass you want.
Missing her so badly

Thanks, Missing Her So Badly. So many times we wished he had kittens to keep as we thought they would've been a chip off the 'ol block. But we were responsible owners and felt the kitty population is big enough without more Rocky's running around.

Phinny,
I'm so sorry about your loss. He was a beautiful creature and will live in your memory and in your heart forever.

Well last night I picked up his cremains. It was so difficult to drive back to the hospital. When I went inside I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Then I got in the car and started crying. It really hit me, he's gone. I'll never see him again, touch him, kiss him. Never feel his presence in the house. All the feelings came flooding back. My partner came home and she cried her eyes out. My heart actually hurts it's so painful.
Come spring/summer we'll bury him in the backyard with his toys and a bit of catnip. He loved flowers so we'll plant some to mark his spot.

We miss you Rock and can't wait to see you again at Rainbow Bridge.

Love your Mommies.
