The sweetness of her breath upon my sleeping face as she awoke me simply by a nudge ~ was so often taken for granted ~

It was ten months ago today that I lost my Angel Amber to end stage CRF after a valiant battle ~ She put her head on my chest and went to sleep for the final time ~ Such a brave and wise creature she brought me to my senses 100,000 times during her short stay on this earth ~ so sweet and perfect ~ I can feel her paw still against my cheek ~

My Ambie ~ I Love You!!!! You are forever in my heart ~ Your music plays in my soul for you always ~ My precious princess STAY with me ~

Yet, even though I plead with you to STAY ~ I know that you must go away from me and play in golden fields of glowing light where you chase the mice I never let you find when confined to a body and this house ~ It was in your soul to run free ~ and now you are ~ so go now my angel girl and fly with the rainbow wind and crystalline flashes of light ~ and just please remember to come back to me sometime in your eternal day ~ and stay if only for another brief glimpse of your spirit gazing across the room at my heart as you wait behind the veil ~

I know you are there ~ it gives my soul peace ~ and my spirit the pathway to greater love ~

What a beautiful tribute to Amber. I know what you mean, I too still feel my three little furry ones near me at times. The love never leaves us.
