Tomorrow at 11:15 AM it will be one week since my baby's been gone.
I've been busy making this to commemorate her life -

I know it will be hard tomorrow - I miss hearing her stretch out in her bed in the morning. Sometimes she'd sleep in her crate and I'd hear her nails clicking against the sides when she'd get up. I miss hearing her circle around the bed trying to get one of us to pick her up. I miss hearing her pant until I'd tell her to lay back down and settle down.
I miss my girl still.

I sympathise with you, mine has only been a few days. Good luck to you on your 1 week anniversary. sad.gif

Lori:

What an absolute beautiful cross-stitch to commemorate little DeDe's life; it is absolutely gorgeous...you're very talented.!!

Of course you still miss your girl - she was family!!!! wub.gif And I know that she was very loved....

I kept counting the hours, 24, 48, 72, 96, etc........... since Ernie was gone. I don't know why I did it that way...

We all grieve differently, but we all share the same problem..........WE MISS OUR BELOVED BABIES!!! THAT'S for real sure!!!

It does get easier, but still, it's a rotten thing to have to go through!!!!! Of course, we want our beloved furbabies here on earth with us. The one thing that keeps me sane is knowing that Ernie is in no pain - she's over rainbow's bridge with everyone elses furbabies who have gone on before.... I find comfort in that there is no more pain; she has a brand new body, can eat, drink, run & play - there is no illness where she is.... She didn't have that here on Earth.

We will talk soon....Until then, keep on keeping on!!!! God Bless you & yours!!!!

Love, Denise

Hi Lori,

Your DeDe was so beautiful! I hope that you made it through the day o.k., I know the wound is still fresh! My heart goes out to you! For me it'll be 2 week's on Saturday and I still do a pretty good bit of crying! She was my little kitchen girl. She always wanted to be in the kitchen with me sitting on the newspaper while I was reading. She'd scratch on the door relentlessly until I let her in! God Bless You!

Lori,

I'm just wanted to tell you how sorry I am that I missed DeDe's anniversary. As you know I lost my Dusty last Friday and today is his 1 week bridge day, so I know how you must be feeling. I just hadn't been on the board much lately (too depressed).

I hope you are doing better today! I am a total mess today, just reliving his last moments and missing him more with each passing day! This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to face and I feel sad to know there are so many of us going through this terrible pain.

May your DeDe send you comfort as you mourn so deeply for her.

Take care,
DustyLove
