This website and all the people who have responded to my post have helped a great deal. My pain is so strong but it REALLY helps to hear that not only is it hard for everyone but that it is normal and ok to be so distraught even thouh he was just a puppy.. I'm so glad we could help you out. I know when I joined this website last October, it was a lifeline for me.

You may have only known your puppy for 6 weeks, but he was very special to you, and you deserve to grieve just like the rest of us...so, please don't cut yourself short on feeling loss and sadness. Please feel free to post any thoughts and feelings you're having...it really does help to share these things with people who understand what you're going through.
