Today is the anniversary of the passing of my sweet boscoe baby. I'm missing him terribly as I think of the very tragic brutal way he died. As I was pondering the weeks before, I came to notice somethings that have came to pass. They say that people may often know that there time is coming to go to a higher place. I can recall when my grandma passed I asked her how are you? She replied,"Not very good I don't think I'll be around much longer." She passed away within 2 weeks. As I think about my sweet baby boy I began to wonder if animals feel that might pass. His mood had changed the week before I thought is was because he wasn't feeling well. The little things he did like just laying on his bed and watching me sleep, not knowing I was peeking at him. And laying on his bed and just looking at the big blue sky and smelling so many different things. I recall the last day not knowing that's what it would be at the time. He just seemed so sad. I came home that after many hours he was so excitied to see me, he wanted just to love on me as though he knew it was going to be the last time, he had a sad look in his eyes, we then got in the truck and went on a run. I knew then he was happy but something was still not the same. We often called our truck the mobile dog house, because we spent so much time in it, Boscoe was famous here in Detroit on Jefferson Ave. After he passed so many people asked about him and wondered where he was they didn't see him in the window only Xena his wife. Do you think it is possible that furbaby's might know when they are going to leave us? Do you believe such a thing could be? I have been thinking about for several weeks now. Maybe it's crazy uh???? I don't think that I will ever get over his passing, I miss my sweet Boscoe Baby. Tina

Yes, I do believe that they have a sense of it. Margo wrote in a post to me that her furbaby gave her a strange and knowing look before Margo took her to the vet, and with me, my Ryddley gave me a long, long, knowing look on her last afternoon: I was brushing her and she gave me such a long, philosophical look that I burst into tears. I didn't know it was going to be her last afternoon with me, I really didn't know, but I think she did and I also think she was telling me goodbye, but sometimes we can't 'interpret' these things, how can we? It's so sad, Tina, but cherish the message you got from your Boscoe. I do think they know when they are going to leave -they do all kinds of things that later we realise were messages- and I also think they are much more spiritually sighted than we are. I am so sorry for your loss, I really am, and I hope you continue to talk to your Boscoe. Deep inside me I believe they really do hear us and are around us.
