Steph
Hello all,

I can't believe a year has gone by since my beloved border collie was suddenly ripped out of my life.

I've come here to say thanks to LS for getting me through one of the most horrifci times in my life. I have moved on from this site, but am happy to have made a group of friends, many of whom I am still in touch with. I stiill come here now and then and look at all of the furbabies photos and stories in the tribute section.

I'd like to say hello to all of the newcomers, and let you know that if you ever wish to email me, feel free - my email is in my profile. I am sorry that all of you have lost your furbabies.

Because I've had a few requests about it, I will wrap up my "Journey through grief" thread. If it's helped anyone, then I am honoured to have written it.

In sympathy to all - Steph

Sincere thoughts to you as you reflect on this past year ~ I know that I too would be worse of a miserable mess if it were not for all the kind souls "here" who have shared my grief and continue to hold a lamp against the darkness for me ~ to know one is not alone is invaluable ~ thank you for staying with us ~ everyone here is so gifted ~ and I am grateful this day for another chance to reaffirm my feelings and to know that there are those who share the view that life is to be cherished ~ these are days of global strife and oppression ~ it is so heart warming to know that still through out it all there are folks like you ~ its this quality of compassion that makes our world a better place ~ Sincerely, Kathryn
