Hi Sen,
Congrats on your new kitten! The new little one will add a ray of sunshine into your lives. Scooter would never be angry or jealous of you loving another cat. In fact he would be honored that you brought a new life in your home to cherish and love. Sometimes I think they have their paws in our choices of our new adoptee's.
I am going to be bringing home a new little baby abyssinian May 21. I know that Bubba and Tommy approve. I am sure that they will lend the little guy some hints from the spirit world!

Good to see you back again. I am sure Scooter will be happy that you have another baby to love. I was afraid my Snookie would be jealous and I was afraid to love my little Schnitzel thinking Snookie would be jealous. She came to me in a dream and showed me she wanted me to love Schnitzel and Gypsy Rose like I loved her. So you just enjoy that baby and when he is tearing the drapes down and digging the walls up just remember it will pass. So good luck and enjoy your sweet baby.

Scooter is smiling down at you. Although you had a bond with him that time can't erase, Scooter would want this new fur-buddy to be lavished with love.

Dear Sen,
Though you might not see this message since it's been nearly two weeks ago, I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your Scooter. You'll see him again; don't you doubt that for a minute!
It just makes my heart soar with joy when I hear that a person who just experienced a loss is brave and courageous and loving enough to reach out and bring in another needy soul into their lives.
Your new kitten is absolutely precious! Aren't they just so special? Each and every one of them is so unique and offers a dimension of love to our lives that we've yet to experience.
Scooter could never be jealous. He knows that you will ALWAYS love him with your special love. It's not about another cat taking a departed one's place--that can never happen. This new, special, precious ball of fur is just inviting you to reach out and bestow your love in a new way!
He just makes you want to pick him up and cuddle him!
Have a wonderful adventure with this special kitten. Oh! the joy he'll bring to your life!
One special note...I know this is not possible for everyone, but just think of the impact our actions could have on the tragic pet overpopulation problem if we somehow found it in our hearts to go to our local pound or shelter and adopt one of these precious souls? To know that you "saved" a precious life somehow eases the pain of saying goodbye to one who has shared our lives for a long time.

Your new little kitten is just adorable. I also have a new little one, which I brought home almost a month ago. Very strange how things go. I brought home 2 strays, one has been placed in another home, and just last week I had to lay my ever-loving Abby to rest. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
The new kitten though is fun, and I now feel he was sent here, to help with the passing of Abby. I still am more of a dog lover though in my heart, but the kids really are enjoying the kitten. Abby was Mom's dog, and everyone knew it. Now at least the kids have a pet they can call their own.
His "prouncing ways" are hilarious, and you can tell he has the instinct of being a stalker. I think he practices, but it's normally at the expense of my feet.
Enjoy the new kitten. We are still up in the air for a name also, but he has mostly been called Stanley Jr., after a cat we had several years ago.

Congratulations on the new additon to your family. What a cutie! I have been kitty shopping myself this week at the shelters. My daughters insisted even though it's only been about a week since my Rico is gone. Of course the ones we liked each had siblings and the shelter prefers them to go in pairs. My daughters thought that was just great......one for each of them. What about me?....LOL. Anyway, enjoy your new little furbaby.

Dear Sen,
You can't get much cuter than that! I am sure your precious Scooter would be so proud. He wants you to be happy and give the love to another just as you gave to him.
Makes me want to run out to the shelter and get another. Don't tell my husband that! My 3 furbabies love each other and get along so well but... I went to our local animal shelter some weeks ago to take some supplies and there was a cat that looked just like my Ayla who passed. Dec. 9, 04., except that she has wavy fur. I have never seen wavy fur like this before on a cat. Anway, I thought about fostering her (I have never fostered before) but then I think I want her because she reminds me of Ayla and maybe I should just let things be as they are right now.
I have no business going to these shelters because I mope for days after I go and I beg my poor husband for more animals.

I could take them all.
Wishing you the best, Kimi

Oh Sen, Those are wonderful pictures and I love the name Nacho. That us so cute and what a doll your babies are. Clair and I remember all to well how when we babysit for our fur kitties how they got into everything. The tore the drapes down and attacked our feet at night too. We thought we never would get them over the wild things they did. We only hope the children don't get more kittens soon. LOL.
Love, Ann

Such adorable pictures! Little Nacho looks like he's not afraid of anything. Zoe and Whiskers are very cute...I have to say, Zoe looks a little more patient than Whiskers.

Thanks for sharing the photo's of your new baby as he "torments" the older pet members of the family.

I sense they live in a home filled with love and it's such a beautiful thing that you all have each other. If only all pets could be so lucky to have such a wonderful home and family....
Congratulations on the new addition of Nacho, (love the name) I'm sure he will prove to be quite a charater and will give you many years of love and unwavoring devotion.

I'm so happy for you with the beautiful addition to your family. He is so adorable and I am sure will bring you much joy and many chuckles.
Having a new kitten is hard work ... I remember only too well. But with it comes all the fun and freshness and newness of life that they bring with them. It is a magical time indeed. I am sure your darling Scooter is looking down with great happiness at the enjoyment little Nacho will bring his mommy.
with love
