You are lucky to have such a kind vet. Mine never even bothered to send me Moose's collar back, no card, just when are you going to pay this 1000.00 critical care bill. I had to file bankrupsty so not being able to pay them stopped me from going and demanding his collar back. I dont even know if they creamated it with him.
My old vet had a cat that lived there, layed around on the counters, was always there, when she passed he made a picture frame for the desk, it had a pic of her as a kitten and under it said "in the beginning" and the next pic of her as an adult said "in the end", I thought that was touching.
