[COLOR=red]ifeel so empty my baby kitty was hit by a car last night at 7:35pm.i held him for the few seconds he had left a woman knocked on my door and asked if we have a black and white cat and right then i knew daddy whent to see the lady said the car she was following tried to miss him but he could'ntshe moved him from the road then came to the door he just looked like he was sleeping with his eyes open he was no longer breathing but his heart was still beating i sat on the ground in my yard ,held and pet him till it was done imss him we got him for my son he was a stray barn kittenfull of fleas and lice he had colds in his eyes he was a mess but for thenext three weeks i was cleaning and bathing him so much we formed our bond together i was his mommy he did evenually form bonds with all of us but i was his saftey net from the kids and his savior from anything that scared or hurt him my son is dealing better than i thought he would but then again he is only three and his solution to this is "we can put him back in the road and let the car go over him again and then he will come back alive"and when i told him when you die you never come back he then said "is swirty in heaven mommy" i said "yes baby he is" he turned to me gave me that sad face and siad "i'm not your baby any more if you don't make him come home"how can i deal with the loss of two babies at once i know time will help but for now i am just so empty

There are many of us in that black pit. All life is precious.I too lost a life companion; my Ollie.just 2 days ago; it really hurts;let me just hug you and send you my deepest sympathy for your kitty.Surround yourself with those who care for you. I grieve also my lost loved one; many have lost profoundly; they will comfort you.

I am so sorry you lost your precious Squirt to being hit by a car. Oh for the sweetness of little children. I guess your son thought the reverse could happen. Little children are pretty quick to adapt to loss at such a young age. So just hang in there and give him all the love you can.

It sounds like Squirt had a wonderful life and was being well cared for regardless of the short time you had him. At least he knew he was loved and no matter how long or short the time that we have with them it just plain hurts.

I am so sorry for your loss ~ the emptiness you feel is the same thing we all share with you ~ you are not alone in your feelings ~ it is so sad ~ my Amber left this earth on Monday March 28th ~ she was the guidepost for my days and nights - and now she is gone ~ Be happy you had the time on earth with your little kitty ~ she was your gift ~ remember the love and happiness and also that you were there to hold her at the end. I am sorry for your loss. It sounds like you gave your little kitty so much love in the time you had him. It is so heart breaking when they die suddenly from an accident. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
