It's amazing how much pain we can feel when we lose a pet! Rascal has been my sweet baby ferret for 4 years now. He was loved, pampered, and cherished above all things in my life. He and his cagemate Gypsy have been my companions throughout all of college. And now Rascal has passed on. I'm so incredibly sad. I really dont know what to do right now, and the thought of living without him makes me ache. I wish I could hold him one last time. Kiss him again. Tickle his belly and watch his eyes sparkle up at me. One thing is for sure, even all of this pain is worth the 4 wonderful years of laughter and joy he gave me.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Rascal. I've never owned a ferret, but I have a friend who has said that her ferrets are the best pets she's ever had.

I'm glad you had 4 wonderful years together. As the pain of your grieving subsides, you'll find so much comfort in those wonderful memories of Rascal.

My dad owned a ferret and so did my daughter and they are a lot of fun. They are a lot of joy and they love you so much too. I am so sorry for the loss of your little Rascal. Just cry a lot of tears when you need to, don't try to hold them back. I know you must feel a lot of pain and we all understand pain, tears, and heartache. Come and tell us more about him.

My thoughts are with you...this is surely a very difficult time. Please take comfort in the fact that you still have Gypsy to cuddle. All those hugs and kisses that you want to give Rascal will be much appreciated by Gypsy as he is missing his buddy too. I'm sure that a part of Rascal is living on in Gypsy.
