It's been two weeks since Ashley's death and no end in sight for my guilt and grief feelings. But last night a new stray cat showed up on my front porch. I was thinking, it was around this time two years ago that my Ashley first showed up, scared, needy, and traumatized. This nw cat is younger, bold, playful, very cute. A solid silver gray color. I wish I still had Ashley but if this cat needs a home and can get along with my remaining cat then I will take it in. It did help my mood to feed and play with him.

So, history repeats itself???

I hope that this new little visitor turns out to be just what your heart needs, and makes your other cats' hearts as joyous as well.

Margo, I am with Kim and Pat and it may do your heart a world of good. Maybe Ashley had her sweet paw in this and it is her way to comfort you and to let you know it is alright to love again. I hope all your furbabies will get along just give it a little time. He or she sounds so cute.
