Today is a hard day for me. My Sasha has been gone for exactly two weeks now. I found myself looking at the clock and remembering the hour she left me. I am feeling very depressed today.

I know she is now out of pain, but I sure miss her presence here. I am glad I still have my Westie, Skipper, here with me. She does help.

I guess I thought I would be feeling better by this time. I wish I had her back.

Dear Nancy,
I think at around 2 weeks I was just beginning to except that my girl was gone and that she was not just away somewhere. I think the few month hurts the most but the first few weeks seemed the worst to me. Still it just hurts so much oh it's not as raw as in the beginning but it will hurt for a while to come.

Dear Nancy,

Thinking of you today on the 2 week anniversary of your Sasha's passing. This is not an easy road but we're all here traveling with you.

Hugs,

Dear Nancy-
2 weeks is such a short time in the grief process.
Indy has been gone 9 weeks and I still have very difficult days.
Some of the days that are the hardest are the "anniversary dates".
By 2 weeks, some of the shock wears off and realization of all that has happend hits us.
It is no wonder you are feeling so blue.

I am glad you have Skipper with you. Indy was our one and only.
I regret not having another pet to help me cope with my loss.
Indy didn't deal with stress well. In his last years we often talked of getting another pet but felt it would be
unfair to him.

Nancy, please give yourself time to heal. 2 weeks is such a brief time to mourn for your beloved Sasha.

Thinking of you.
Love,
Fran
